Job Description
HR Pros Plus LLC is seeking a motivated and organized Recruiter & Onboarding Specialist to support the hiring of package delivery drivers. This independent contractor will source qualified candidates, conduct interviews, coordinate hiring activities, and manage the onboarding process to ensure new drivers are ready to begin work quickly.
This is a remote 1099 contract position with flexible scheduling and performance-based opportunities.
Responsibilities
Source qualified package delivery driver candidates through job boards and recruiting platforms.
Review resumes and applications.
Conduct phone and virtual interviews.
Verify candidate qualifications and eligibility.
Coordinate background checks and motor vehicle record (MVR) screenings.
Schedule drug screenings when required.
Communicate hiring decisions and job offers.
Guide candidates through the onboarding process.
Collect required hiring documentation.
Maintain applicant tracking and hiring records.
Ensure all onboarding documents are complete and accurate.
Communicate with dispatch and operations regarding driver readiness.
Meet hiring goals and fill open routes in a timely manner.
Job requirements
Minimum Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred).
Previous recruiting, staffing, HR, or talent acquisition experience.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
Comfortable working independently.
Proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
Experience using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and job boards.
Reliable internet connection and computer.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience recruiting delivery drivers, CDL drivers, or logistics personnel.
Experience using Indeed, ZipRecruiter, Facebook Jobs, LinkedIn, or similar recruiting platforms.
Experience with electronic onboarding platforms and e-signatures.
